Key responsibilities
A (senior) manager achieves:
- Professional aims: is responsible for the preparation, implementation,
reports and evaluation of the engagements under his responsibility and
further monitors the company-wide services to the clients concerned.
- Personal aims: annually draws up a year-plan focused on personal
development and development of the team members on the engagement, and
monitors the progress of the realisation.
- Commercial aims: is responsible for achieving a share of the business
plan of the region (as laid out in the year-plan) and manages the
marketing & sales activities together with the partner.
- Within the performance of the duties and the responsibility with the
region, a distinction can be made between the roles of professional,
business advisor, project manager and HR performance manager.
At more senior levels we are looking for more experience in team
management, engagement management team building and selling of services.
Requirements
- CA (SA) Degree, equivalent of RA / AA (The Netherlands) or CFA (USA)
6 - 10 years experience within reputable, internationally known Audit
firm;
- Leadership skills, Management skills;
- Business focus, commercial team player, strategic thinker;
- Takes responsibility and accountability, stress proof;
- Strong interpersonal skills, good relationship builder;
- Up to date with (international) accounting and auditing standards; US
GAAP, IFRS, Mifid, Basel, SOX, etc;
- Good technical, analytical and presentation skills;
- Ability to manage various projects simultaneously and to deal
effectively with individuals at all levels;
- Strong communication skills (both written and spoken) in English and
preferably Dutch.
