Currently we are looking for experienced Process Control Engineer.
Key responsibilities
The Process Control Engineer develops Process Control Narratives,
Instrument safeguarding Narratives, Cause & Effect Diagrams and executes
SIL studies. He performs FAT, commissioning & start-up in the Netherlands
and abroad (if required).
Requirements The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process control design of oil and
gas production units, chemicals and polymers units or refinery units;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, excellent knowledge of the
English language, both oral and written, is pro-active and willing to be
mobilized between offices;
- Computer skills required for word processing, process simulation and
spreadsheet evaluations;
- Broad experience in developing control and safeguarding narratives (base
layer), proven knowledge of IEC 61508 / 61511 in preparation,
classification and validation during Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
studies;
- Practical experience in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), commissioning & start-up.
Furthermore, the Process Control Engineer has a strong multi-interface
role between the Process and Instrumentation disciplines during inhouse
projects. Finally, the Process Control Engineer plays a central role at
client location during commissioning & start-up activities with the
client, Instrumentation & Automation vendors, etc. EXTRA
