Currently we are looking for experienced (Senior) Process Engineers.
Key responsibilities
The (Senior) Process Engineer:
- Develops process flow schemes and determines process control systems;
- Calculates and develops mass and heat balances;
- Calculates and specifies process equipment and prepares process
specifications for control valves, pressure-relief valves, flow- and
temperature meters and pressure measuring instruments;
- Prepares process safeguarding diagrams, determines maximum and minimum
process and safety conditions;
- Develops process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s) together with
piping and mechanical engineers;
- Calculates pipe diameters and pressure drops in pipes and piping systems
for one-phase and multiple-phase flows;
- Prepares process descriptions and operating manuals.
The Senior Process Engineer has a further going responsibility towards the
quality controls of produced documents.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
The candidate has a minimum of 4 years (Process Engineer) or 10 years
(Senior Process Engineer) of experience in process design of oil and gas
production units, chemicals and polymers units or refinery units.
The applicant must have good interpersonal and communication skills,
excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written, is
pro-active and willing to be mobilized between offices.
Computer skills are required for word processing, process simulation and
spreadsheet evaluations.
